Winter Storm Warning

Good Afternoon,

We would like to inform you of an approaching spring storm expected to impact the Riverdale Dunes Metro District area beginning late Monday and continuing through Wednesday.

This system will bring rapidly changing weather conditions, with temperatures dropping significantly as a cold front moves in. You can expect rain to develop initially, transitioning to a rain/snow mix and eventually accumulating snow. Snowfall may be wet and heavy, which increases the likelihood of broken tree branches and potential damage to landscaping and plants. Gusty winds may also contribute to these impacts. If you notice down branches or damage to District property, please report this on the District website.

As a precaution, District irrigation systems will be turned off ahead of the storm.

We encourage all residents to review their property and take necessary steps to prepare. This includes disconnecting hoses, securing outdoor items, and ensuring landscaping and irrigation components are protected as much as possible.

Please note that snow removal on District sidewalks and alleys will be completed following the storm if snowfall exceeds two inches on these surfaces.

Travel conditions may become hazardous, with slushy or snow-covered roads and reduced visibility at times. Please plan accordingly and use caution if traveling during the storm.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation. Please stay safe.

Sincerely,
Riverdale Dunes Metro District
